java - How do I fix "Error starting VisualVM" in Eclipse? -

i tried following steps: in eclipse under window > preferences > run/debug > launching > visualvm configuration.

next visualvm executable, choose browse. , select jvisualvm.exe c:\program files\java\jdk1.6.0_32\bin.

now when press run error starting visualvm - running visualvm using java runtime environment (jre).

tried editing 'c:\program files\java\jdk1.6.0_32\lib\visualvm\etc\visualvm.conf' replacing #jdkhome="/path/to/jdk" #jdkhome=c:/program files/java/jdk1.6.0_32 , i'm still getting same error.

how can fix error?

open "visualvm_directory/etc/visualvm.conf" file , set jdk path in "jdkhome" attribute

ex.: jdkhome=c:\program files\java\jdk1.7.0_67
